Description
For over five years, EoFauna researcher Asier Larramendi has been developing a method to accurately calculate the body mass, shoulder height, and shape of extinct proboscideans. The results have been surprising. While some species weighed only a few kilograms, others rivaled sauropods in size. One or two proboscideans may have even been larger than Indricotherium, previously thought to be the largest land mammal to ever exist.
Larramendi’s methods will help future researchers calculate the height and mass of a number of species. It will also prove helpful to paleoartists wishing to illustrate extinct proboscideans.

Theres no other company or group that has the amount of data that eofauna has on these mammoths and others , i do wish they would post some photos of these huge mammoth bones with an average african elephant for size comparison maybe in some future books.
Also they are so great at sculpting these beasts that a larger deluxe scale would be a suggestion even though its more expensive. Perhaps 1/30 scale which is a common scale for wildlife models as well .
